Am I locked into one nutrient brand?
No. Jane is a tool for the nutrients you choose, not a calculator limited to one manufacturer. Select from the brands and schedules available in Jane, and change your selection when you change nutrients. The catalog will grow; the current prototype does not contain every manufacturer or every feeding chart.
What does Jane actually do?
Jane calculates a nutrient formula from an available feeding schedule and your water amount. Gardener and Farmer also use your garden’s dates to track its Grow/Bloom position and water-change timing.
What’s the difference between Hobby and Gardener?
Hobby remembers your nutrient brand, series and plan. You still choose the phase, week and water amount. Gardener tracks one garden through time, with reminders and your saved pH calibration. Farmer gives you the same management tools for three gardens.
Can I use Jane without downloading an app?
Yes. The browser prototype is available at JaneSoSmart.app. Free needs no sign-in. The current saved-account test is by invitation.
Will Jane tell me how much pH adjustment to add?
Yes. At the Gardener and Farmer level, Jane can help scale your own saved pH adjustment calibration. Jane does not assume one universal dose. Always add gradually, mix and verify pH.
Can I subscribe or download from a store yet?
Not yet. The listed annual plans describe the intended commercial offering. Payments, store releases and commercial accounts are still ahead. No payment is collected on this website.
