Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026. These terms cover the janeSoSmart website and browser app, operated as janeSoSmart in Minnesota, USA. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

What Jane provides

Jane helps calculate nutrient amounts and organize garden timing using selected plans and your inputs. The current service is a testing-stage prototype. Features may change or be interrupted. Commercial subscriptions and native store apps are not available through this website yet; displayed prices describe planned offerings.

Your responsibility

Use Jane only for lawful purposes. Check your inputs, units, product identity and feeding plan before use. Follow manufacturer labels, safe handling instructions and applicable laws. Measure and verify pH and other conditions yourself. Calculations, schedule adaptations and reminders can be wrong or delayed; Jane does not guarantee plant health, crop yield or results. Browser reminders require the page to remain running.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep private invitations and account access secure. Do not access another person’s account, attack or disrupt the service, upload harmful content, or use automated traffic that interferes with others. We may restrict access to address abuse or security concerns.

Content and third parties

janeSoSmart branding, software and original website content belong to their respective owners. Product names and trademarks belong to their manufacturers. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement or partnership. Third-party websites and future payment or app-store services have their own terms.

Availability and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Jane is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. To that same extent, janeSoSmart is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost crops, profits or data. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and requests. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date; when appropriate we will provide additional notice. Minnesota law applies to the extent allowed, without overriding mandatory rights where you live.
